MobilCash was originated in Zaragoza (Spain), where an information technology consulting company developed several Java applications to facilitate payment transactions. The incorporation of a partner in the United States helped planning the business and obtaining the seed capital that allowed the creation of the actual MobilCash. MobilCash LC is a Florida based corporation, headquartered in Miami with its software development / technical office in Zaragoza.

Management Team

• Albert Comas - A co-founder of MobilCash, Albert serves as a CEO and general manager. Most recently, Comas worked as assistant vice-president for Visa International, managing the prepaid portfolio of products in Latin America. Previously, Comas managed projects and sales for the Central American region of Visa International. Prior to that assignment, Comas served as sales manager for Multi Service Corporation, being responsible for the development of Multi Service merchant network and cardholder portfolio in Latin America. Albert received a MBA degree in May 1995 from Pittsburg State University where he held a full graduate assistantship and a BS degree in Economics and International Business in May 1993 from Mc Pherson College with a full scholarship awarded at the Universitat de Barcelona. Comas also received a BS degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universitat de Barcelona in his native Barcelona (Spain).
• Francisco Bas - A co-founder of MobilCash LC, Francisco is the director of technology. Most recently, he worked as a partner and technical director of ADT Spain, a technology consulting and software development company, where he was granted 3 patents and submitted 4 additional applications that are still pending. Previously, Bas was VP of Technology for Tecktel Inc (Erie, PA), where he designed and developed software applications for numerous clients. Prior to that, Bas worked as IS Director for Fabersanitas SA (Spain), where he was responsible for the development of applications related to the health industry. Additional independent consulting assignments were taken for Bas during his career. Bas received a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University (Erie, PA) in 1990 and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the "Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingenieria Industrial" of Zaragoza (Spain) in 1983.
• Fernando Bas - A co-founder of the company, Fernando is the Research and Development Director and works closely with his brother Francisco Bas. Most recently, he worked as partner at ADT Spain, a technology consulting and software development company, where he was involved in the development of Java applications and the encrypted exchange of messages among cellular phones (patent granted). Previously, Fernando consulted for several clients, developing systems in the areas of telecommunications, internet and prepaid telephony. Fernando received a BS degree in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on Electricity from the "Centro Politecnico Superior" of the Universidad de Zaragoza in 1993.
• Jose Ignacio Bas - A co-founder of MobilCash LC, Jose Ignacio is the Director of Operations. Most recently, Jose Ignacio worked as the Director of ADT Spain, a technology consulting and software development company, where he was involved in the submission of several technology patents. Jose Ignacio also led ADT's commercial efforts in Spain and Latin American. Previously, Jose Ignacio was the Administration Director for Nixdorf Computer at his branch in Zaragoza (Spain). He received a Law Degree from the Universidad de Zaragoza in 1984 and an MBA in 1991.
